Fantasy Zone 2

From: HarvestDude
Comments: Excellent! One of the best Sega Master System games and one of the best Shooters of all! It really uses all the colors and hardware speed from the old 8-bit sega home console. Im brazilian, and we have played several Master System titles, but Fantasy Zone II sure is a Top-10 SMS games. My favorite SMS game, by the way.

Alex Kidd in Shinobi World

Comments: A pretty neat game, one of the most fun games of SMS. The music and character animation were pretty good worked out. Unfortunally, this game suffers the same illness from several other SMS games: too easy to beat! But it's a nice and fun game, anyway.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World

Comments: One of the best SMS platform games. A true classic, with a good storyline, graphics, music and challenge. You definively haven't played the SMS if you didn't play Alex Kidd in Miracle World. A must-play one.

Comments: Wonderful game! A great platform game for the SMS that can't be missed! Castle of Illusions for SMS is even better than the Genesis/Mega Drive version! Its more challenging, has more stages and definitively more addictive! Good graphics and sound! It ain't so hard to beat but its a pretty good game!!

Zillion 2: Tri Formation

From: HarvestDude
Comments: Fantastic game! Another good challenging game for the SMS! Zillion II came with a different style from its 1st version. A tough game, with good graphics, excellent music and a challenge level that makes you want to throw the cartridge against the wall! It's also great because the action changes between motorcycle stages, flying-robot stages and run-n'-kill-norzas stages! Tough bosses, thousands of shots against you and frenetic action. A must-have for SMS.

Zillion

Comments: Another tough cookie for the SMS. Zillion is a nice Rpg/Adventure/Action-style game. A huge labirynth, friends to rescue, cards and floppy disks to find and tons of enemies and traps. Can't be beaten without drawing a map. Graphics aren't that great, but its a good game, though. Pretty chalenging and addictive.

Ghostbusters

Comments: The best 8-bit version of Ghostbusters. Colorful, fun, and not impossible to climb ladders that leads to the top of the Zuul Building (does anybody here ever made to the top floor on the NES' Ghostbusters?). Hard to beat Gozer if you're still an unskilled ghostbuster-dude. Takes me an 8.

Phantasy Star

Comments: The best SMS game, in my humble, opinion. Excellent graphics, storyline, music, sounds and challenge. A tough, but still addictive game. It took me a month to beat for the 1st time. An epic, anyone who likes videogames at all must play the SMS Phantasy Star. Top notch! 10!

Paperboy

Comments: Even being better than the NES version, Paperboy is still a somehow boring game. Its nice at the first time you play it, but it gets boring quickly. Sega didn't seem to improve the game graphics and sound.

Dynamite Dux

2005-02-08
From: HarvestDude
Comments: Too damn easy. Even being a Sega Arcade conversion, Dynamite Dux is pretty EASY. I've finished by the second time i've played it. Its a bit funny, but its so damn easy and short. Graphics are nice, music a bit boring. You drop out the game when you finish it (by the 2nd time). A waste of time and money. Good for kids. Teens and grown-ups, go seek another game.

Comments: Good racing game for the SMS. Not a perfect one, but has good graphics and sound. Easy to control, fun to play. Reminds me a bit of the old Namco's POLE POSITION. Looking for a nice SMS racing game? Found it.

Black Belt

2005-02-08
From: HarvestDude
Comments: Good game! Even being a little repetitive, Black Belt (US/Brazil/Europe)/Hokuto no Ken - Fist of the North Star (Japan), is a good fighting game! The stages arent that challeging, but the bosses cant only be beaten with different strategies! An addictive and fun classic for the SMS.
