Sonic the Hedgehog Chaos

Comments: played, and cpompleted this game. the graphics are a vast improvement on previous sonic SMS games, and the addition of tails is interesting, it allows for 2 distinctly different styles of gameplay-speed, and time bonus, for sonic, and adventure, and ring bonus for tails. Indeed, some people have been complaining about the longevity of the game, but, as it has no battery back-up save feature, or the primitive password save system, it would have to be completeable in one sitting.as far as replay value is concerned, there is always more. with hoards of hidden stages, and many emeralds to collect, it'd take a good 5 play-throughs of the game (or a good walkthrough) to get everything out of it. I have almost 20 sms games, and this is my favourite.

Comments: i have to agree, this game get's boring and repetitive incredibly fast, for most of it, you can just hold down the side button, and shoot randomly, and still rack up a six digit score... from a graphical standpoint, this game really is pretty decent. i play hundreds of 8-bit games, and graphically, this is among the best. and sound. ... the missile/bullet firng sounds are decent, but not great, but who could forget the "Get Ready!!!" at the beginning... as far as my collection goes, this is the only 8-bit game with any voice samples whatsoever, however primitive.

Comments: This game is built in to my sms2, and as such, was the first game i played for the system of masters. featuring colourful backgrounds, varyed enemies(think stoneface, the first boss), great powerups/vehicles, and, on top of that, an interesting plot line, and it's hard to see where it could be bettered. still haven't beaten this one, but it's on my to do list...great game... prefer sonic games myself, but i can see why this game is a firm favourite amongst sega fans.
