Monkey could jump real high, tiger could run real fast and fox was a good overall mix. lots of fun with a few hidden gems in the game. This was in my opinion the first big time game that was a precursor to the genesis system style games. Meaning, that you had a more complex environment and setup also with the abilities. Wasn't just a cut and dry mario or whatever. not bashing just stating.

Comments: I can understand the frustration that many people have voiced over the control of movement in this game. I can understand it, but I don't share it. I imagine, like me, many people went from playing Alex Kidd to playing this. There certainly is a world of difference when it comes to controlling your character, but I have to rule in favor of Psycho Fox. I found the movement of Alex Kidd to be hypersensitive and even erratic at times. Psycho Fox was firmly within the laws of physics and was much easier for me to get the hang of. It could be a hard game, but it was beatable. Not through cheats (warps don't count) or codes, but through dogged determination alone. It even had an ending that didn't leave you feeling slighted. In short, this is the greatest platformer that the world will ever see.

Although I realize it may not have been a truly great game I always had fun playing it and rarely got pissed off. Sure, Psycho Fox could be frustating like any game, but it always seemed so colorful and cheery that winning and losing seemed to be only half the fun. Basically, this game turned me into a pussy. Comments: Wait a sec. this game plays just like Vic Tokai's KID KOOL for the NES, only on steroids w/ cute animals involved. If you luv old-school platformers, you'll love Psycho Fox. It's much better than Kid Kool, but still not as perfect as the Mario Bros.

Comments: This game will always be among my top 10 favorite SMS games of all time. *Fun fact: Psycho Fox was made by the same team who made Kid Kool on the NES and Decap Attack on the Genesis. Even though those three games play almost identically, Psycho Fox is the best of them all!

Comments: i got this game from a jumble sale along with my machine this is the most played game along with safari hunt i found a cheat on all of the 3rd stages e.g. 1-3 2-3 3-3 ect. near where the boss is at there is a triangle of jumping boards the best way is to get to the top of the boxes and be monkey or have bird fly on your sholder throw or punch at the sky and it should open to reveal a warp hole jump in and go along the tunnel till you find a red tube in the ground jump down it and you will be in another level a bit futher in the game......

Comments: This game is almost a 10: it got great graphics, great music (er, maybe a couple more tunes would come nice), great characters...but the control...ouch. How many times you did that jump without taking a good run before, and then went just a little bit to the front and end up dying on the water? It would be much better if the fox plays like Sonic or Alex Kidd.

Comments: If sega made Psycho Fox before Decappattack (for the Genesis), Psycho fox is definitely where they got a lot of ideas! As for the game itself, it is fun except one MAJOR drawback, When you start to walk, you move so slow, and you can't get any distance out of your jumps, but after walking for about 2 seconds, you are cruising like Sonic, and bumping into all the enemys! it's take a while to get used to how you move! If not for that this game could have been WAY better!

Comments: An awesome game. I don't know why Sega never made a sequel to this game. I love how you can transform into the different animals and use their powers. This is one of my favorites. The only thing I don't like about this game is that on the back of the box, they crack on Metroid. That's not cool. Other than that, it's a great game.
